My 2008 Resolutions (Speziale)

In 2008 I'd like to...

1.) Seriously practice études and technical studies for at least 1 or 2 hours a day
2.) Learn enough new repertoire to give a recital in the fall
3.) Rekindle a friendship with my metronome
4.) Learn one new piece of gig-music every week
5.) Learn at least a few pieces to play on Celtic harp
6.) Be proactive in preparing for the WHC in Amsterdam
7.) Be more efficient in moderating the WHC forum

Wow, that's a lot... hopefully I'll be able to make them all happen!

Hi, nice to read about your resolutions for the new year. My harp-related resolutions are:

1. to practise at least 2 hours every day
2. to be more expressive in my playing
3. to attend as many harp concerts as possible
4. to meet more harpists
5. to keep on enjoying the wonderful harp lessons with my kind and good teacher... and to make her happy with my playing!

BTW, I am only "young at heart" and not a youth by definition...but, please don't kick me out! Thanks.
